A song of hope and grief

I simply wish
upon this starless sky,
for our entwined hands.

But those voices I keep hearing
were resounding in vain
inside a locked room.

A whole red moon;
Light and darkness;
The time when we took a rest;
Unforgivable promises
and those embellished memories;
Those piles of lovely sins;
those bunches of sweet lies;
and all the sleepless grieves.

I'm whispering a prayer
May there be a glimmer of hope
shining on this wingless dreams

I simply wish upon an empty future
For a path to reveal.
But those voices I was seeking for,
were rising up then vanishing
in these remaining times

I wonder, how long will this last?
The spiral of darkness and depression
and that up-side down moon
“Present” is the only thing I believe in now

I lost my beloved moon,
those gentle drops of rain,
and those slumbering whispers
While there is a dream,
even if I forgot how to fly away,
I will keep reciting a song of faint hopes
and grieves

Even light
reflected on water’s surface
Is sinking deeper than before.

And I can see
That peculiar moon and
a soundlessly played
melody of darkness

Those piles of lovely sins,
those bunches of sweet lies,
and those sleepless grieves
I'm whispering a prayer
May these wingless dreams
find even just a glimmer of hope...

I lost my beloved moon,
those gentle drops of rain,
and those slumbering whispers
While I can still dream
Even if I never find how to fly again
I'll keep reciting a song of faint hopes
and grieves
