Love

Before love rejects logic by calling itself "too heavy a burden"
And changes into hatred...

Isn't just about everything like that?
False reality always puts a lid on awkward circumstances
In an era of twisted dilemmas
Even we, who should have made a promise, breeze by without noticing

We've abandoned how
We destroyed and even understood each other
Are we mere shadows of who we once were?
And when we refused to acknowledge that and stood against it
We did it without running from the image of when we fell

I'll search over and over again for
Your eyes and the warmth of your hands

The city that never changes even when I'm not there
Won't ever seek out my salvation
Duped by someone honest,
Everyone's within a fragile crystal
Because I've piled up so many lies

"Love never does anything but hurt me..." you mumbled
And wept that you feared trusting, didn't you?
By knowing your weakness, growing strong, and trusting without fear,
You will surely know true love before it changes into hatred

What I wanted
Wasn't this heartless, contrived world
I can't watch these days that lack even a shard of reason
In eyes tired of reflecting, where vileness dwells

Lies that heal the heart: they do exist, but
What steal the heart away are lies, aren't they?

"Even if I try to approach love, it just snaps at me..." I mumbled
And lived having stopped trusting, hadn't I?
Even if I get struck down by despair, I ought to cling
To my fleeting life with astonishingly strong feelings

What I wanted
Wasn't this heartless, contrived thing

The love I lost in this city--
When I search for its meaning,
It'll surely get a bit better and I'll be able to move on
